​​​​Hi, I’m Kris — also known as Buntarke.
I’m a Spain-based illustrator focused on book cover art and book illustration for publishers and indie authors, with select editorial & advertising work for magazines and campaigns across pop culture, cinema, relationships and lifestyle. My visuals emphasise expressive character presence, emotional storytelling and inclusive representation — often with hand-drawn lettering and a strong sense of mood and tone.

STRANGE BUT TRUE
While pregnant, I travelled all across Mexico in a camper van my husband and I built ourselves — yes, during the whole pregnancy! I also tattoo myself (and him), and I’m a huge fan of retro tech and quirky gadgets.
