ABOUT

Hi, I'm Kristina Fostovets, also known as Buntarke—a freelance digital illustrator specializing in advertising, editorial illustration, and book covers. Based in Spain, I create bold, conceptual illustrations with a touch of humor.
With a background as an engineer-architect, I expanded my expertise by studying graphic design, illustration, and stop-motion animation. My creative experience also includes foam sculpture and large-scale mural painting.
My work is influenced by a love for pop culture, tattoo art, travel, and especially books—I'm a devoted reader with a deep affection for printed editions. Today’s books are incredibly beautiful, and I find great joy in browsing bookstores weekly, admiring covers and drawing inspiration from their design. I’m also passionate about advocating for global equality and celebrating individuality. These interests inspire me to create emotionally resonant art, blending rich colours, bold contrasts, and subtle humour to communicate meaningful messages.
Whether crafting visuals for a magazine spread, a dynamic ad campaign, or a striking book cover, I thrive on exploring new challenges and delivering impactful results.
